I was sent a picture by one of my friends with a caption saying be careful of this man picking up random people in a taxi cab and taking them off somewhere, removing their body parts and killing them.

Now the first thing I thought of when I saw his picture was “boy” does he look familiar, so I continued to think about it, until I said to myself well Delasia, Do you really want to know him and what are you doing with the body parts?

I think about the man that targeted young African American girls and young ladies to contract them with AIDS, I think about the brother that killed his sister and laughed about it on Social Media, The attack on Iran, I can just go on and on and that’s what doesn’t make me feel good about the world we live in.

Crime to me starts at home, what are you or have you allowed your child to do or watch on television? If you really knew your child could you have caught whether or not your child has mental issues? Is it just a mental issue? CRIME STARTS AT HOME.

I think that we live in a very sick world, full of very sick people. Would you agree that we were born to sin? What makes you different or want to be different from someone? I was once told a story about 2 sons that was raised by the same father who was an alcoholic and was very abusive with his hands and words.

One man was asked, “Why do you not drink alcohol?” His reply was because I grew up with an alcoholic and abusive father and I knew I wanted something different for my life. The other son who wasn’t doing so well in life was asked the same question “Why do you drink?” His reply was because I grew up watching my father drink alcohol.

My take on this situation is that just because you may grow up with a certain situation/situations, parents who may not care like you want them too, parents who drink and smoke in front of you that doesn’t mean that you have to keep the cycle going, you can break the cycle and want different for your life.

If your child/adult child goes out and kills someone as a parent do you feel like it’s your fault and if not whose fault is it? Are you the type of parent that wants to blame society for your child’s wrong doings.

This goes back to my statement earlier about people being born to sin. My opinion is how you choose to raise your child. Ex: Right or Wrong, Morals and Values, Patience, Teach no sense of entitlement even if you have the money, Respectability, Accountability.
